Likkle newborn tracker

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 30, 2026

Likkle is a newborn tracking app for iPhone, published by Nerdy Yawdie ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app stores, what leaves your device, and what it never does.

The short version

Everything you log about your baby is stored on your iPhone. It is never uploaded anywhere unless you create an account to share with a partner. We never sell your data, we never show ads, and we never use your baby's information for advertising.

1. Information you enter into the app

Likkle stores whatever you choose to log, which may include:

Some of this is health-related information about your child. We treat it accordingly: it is stored on your device, it is not shared with us, and it is not used for any purpose other than showing it back to you (and to a partner you invite).

Solo mode — the default

When you use Likkle without an account, all of the above is stored only in the app's private storage on your iPhone, protected by your device passcode and iOS app sandboxing. None of it is transmitted to us or to any third party. We cannot see it, and we cannot recover it if you delete the app.

Family mode — only if you choose it

If you sign in with Apple to share with a partner, your logged data is copied to Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore for records, Firebase Storage for photos) so both devices can see the same information. It is stored in a private family space readable only by the accounts you have invited. Firebase acts as our data processor; we do not use this data for analytics, profiling, or advertising.

2. Account information

The only way to create an account is Sign in with Apple. We receive a unique account identifier from Apple, and — depending on what you allow at sign-in — a name and an email address, which may be Apple's private relay address. We use these only to identify your account and to show a partner who logged what. We do not send marketing email.

3. Diagnostic and usage information

To keep the app stable and understand which features are used, Likkle includes Google Firebase services that collect limited technical information in both solo and family mode:

Service What it collects
Firebase Analytics Anonymous usage events such as "a feed was logged," "a chart was viewed," or "a feature was turned off," plus device model, OS version, app version, and approximate country.
Firebase Crashlytics Crash reports: the error, the code path, device model, and OS version.
Firebase Performance Monitoring Timing measurements such as how long the app takes to launch or to save a record.

Your baby's information is never sent as part of this. Usage events record that an action happened and what kind — never names, amounts, measurements, notes, photos, or the times of actual feeds and sleeps. Analytics tells us how the app is used; it never tells us what your baby did.

We do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA), we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we show no advertising in Likkle.

6. Data retention and deletion

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. In solo mode you can do all of this directly in the app, because you hold the only copy. For family-mode data, or for any request you cannot complete in the app, email us and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Children's privacy

Likkle records information about an infant, but it is designed for and directed at parents and caregivers — not at children. It is not intended for use by anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information directly from a child. As the parent or guardian, you decide what to log about your baby and whether any of it ever leaves your device.

9. International transfers

If you use family mode, your data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure and may be processed in the United States and other countries where Google operates. In solo mode, nothing is transferred anywhere.

10. Security

On-device data is protected by iOS app sandboxing and your device passcode or biometrics. Family-mode data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Firebase, and access rules restrict each family's records to the accounts invited to that family. No system is perfectly secure, but we do not hold data we do not need.

11. Not medical advice

Likkle is a record-keeping tool. Its reminders, intervals, charts, and growth references are general information, not medical guidance, and are no substitute for your pediatrician. Always follow your healthcare provider's advice about feeding, sleep, and your baby's health.

12. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top and, where the change affects how your data is handled, tell you in the app before it takes effect.
